The last great president. Anyone who insults his memory by blaming the wasteful corruption of government and the economic recession today will luckily pass away themselves without a legacy or a memory worth commenting on.

His only worthy achievement was outspending the U.S.S.R....besides that he was the beginning, the catalyst for our current economic crisis...if he stuck to Jack Kemp's conservatism he would have been fine, but unfortunately for all of us, he did not...and so you know, you can't fix a 21st century problem with a 20th century strategy that didn't work in the 20th century...wake up conservatives, it's time for a new philosophy...Reagan is DEAD...get on with your lives, it's 2009, not 1980...losers

He lowered taxes, but then had to raise them for 6 straight years because of the deficits he created and alas G.H.W. suffered the consequences in '92. The current financial crisis can be directly traced to Ronnie...Jack Kemp's economics were perverted by the Right Wing...sound social programs were a major aspect of his philosophy, too bad they never followed thru...well they did for big oil with ridiculous amounts of subsidies, a corporate social program at least...

Ronald Regan is quite the contrast to Barak Obama. The differences are staggering as well as sobering. Obama is definitely a change, just not one I believe is needed.

Ronald Reagan was in my opinion the greatest President in the modern era. agandia you need to get all your facts straight, but then again it's typical for all libs to just use talking points, and forget history and facts.

The national debt tripled during President Reagan's administration ... The administration secretly sold arms to Iran - a terrorist state ... Despite a Congressional ban on supporting the Contras in Latin America he and his administration delivered cash to Nicaraguan insurgents ... During his presidency, deregulation led to one of the biggest financial scams in history, the S & L debacle. The man holding the highest office in government found government itself to be the problem! UNREAL!!

Hey HappyPick, I can't believe it, but I Googled "Chavez, yes we can" and found exactly that. Scary stuff.

Now THAT is a president who is worthy of our respect, worthy of the opportunity to lead our country, and worthy to be saluted by our military men and women. Show me another like him, and I'll proudly RUN to the voting booth to vote for that person! Methinks I'll be waiting for a VERY long time. :o(

Gentlemen/Ladies: You are doing the Lord's work here, and I thank you with my whole heart. Seeing President Reagan still makes my heart swell and my soul soar. Thank you so very much. R. J. Wright rtinman@valornet.com

Ron Reagan and Ron Paul where great friends and Ron Paul does hold the exact principals but how many here voted for him?....VOTE RON PAUL 2008! Write him in if need be." I am with you on this all the way. And, I am definately voting for Ron Paul, even if it has to be a write in vote.

Barack Obama's "Yes, we can" motto has been immortalized and satirized in online music videos over the past week. This video instead salutes Ronald Reagan for his can-do faith in Americans to succeed without their government.
